I might be the only one left in the world who doesn’t use Pinterest. I tried it, but I couldn’t quite figure it out. I’m no wonder when it comes to computers and technique which might seem a little ironic because I’m working as a photographer, and because most of the things I do include a technical device in some form, but I guess there are just some things still yet to learn for me. But now that I don’t use Pinterest, I really like this feature on Instagram where you can save all the beautiful and inspiring photographs you come across on this wonderful app, and though I’m not entirely sure, is seems a bit like “pinning”.
For a while, I have been sharing some of my saved photographs in my story on Instagram, but I think these photographs and the persons behind them deserve something more, so I’m going to share them on the blog once every week along with some words about the pictures and the instagrammer. I really like sharing these things with you, and then you can get a picture of what is inspiring me at the moment, and hopefully get inspired too.
These following pictures are the ones I have been saving this week, and I will start from left corner and move my way down to the right.
I actually found this photograph trough @coffeeandseasons, but the photograph is taken by Birgitte and her account is full of beautiful colors, a lot of flowers and cups of coffee.
I have been following Ana for over a year now, and I’m really enjoying the calmness and the cosiness in all her pictures. Now that I think about it, she has the perfect Instagram-name for her universe – quiet blessings.
Saar is a favorite of mine. She is so inspiring, in everything she does! Her photographs are often so simple but always with so much atmosphere.
This woman is so beautiful and elegant, and her style is a big inspiration to me.
Just look at that picture. So beautiful and so a special mood to it. I have been following Jestem since I got on Instagram, and I have never stopped enjoying it.
I just found Lotta’s account yesterday, and it’s so beautiful. Do you know this feeling of “where have you been all my life and why haven’t I found you before now?” when you find a new account?
Another one from Lotta’s account.
And another one from Saar’s account.
This picture of flowers hanging to dry is so beautiful and inspiring, and I really feel like doing something similar.
This picture is taken by the women behind Babes in Boyland in the home of @sofiaatmokkasin. It dosen’t get any better than this.
Tina is so adorable and beautiful, and very talented too – in front as well as behind the camera.
These shelves at Ulrika’s are amazing, and her account and photographs are too.
And that was it for this week. I hope you got inspired!
Love from Freja
