Inspiration (07)

Hello <3

I don’t know about you but I can’t quite believe the fact that spring has arrived. So far March has been mostly grey and rainy around here – this March has actually been the most rainy March in Denmark – ever! So I guess, it makes sense that it doesn’t really feel like spring yet.

I’ve worked a lot from home the last few weeks and it has been challenging. In a post a few posts back, I mentioned something about a scaffold that has been set up on both sides of our building and all our windows have been covered with dark plastic. There is absolutely no light coming in and we actually wouldn’t know what weather it is unless we go outside. And we can’t open the windows. Not even a little bit. I’m getting a little crazy here and it certainly doesen’t help on the already missing feeling of spring.

So we dream a lot about moving lately. We have been dreaming for some time as we could use some more space but this current situation gives us the desire to act on it right away. But we are trying our best not to rush it because we actually don’t know what we want our new home to be and even though we almost have forgotten all about it right now, we kinda really liked it here before the scaffold.

So as you might can tell, there is not much spring going on around here but I can see little signs of spring in YOUR pictures lately, and that is so wonderful to see – that spring is actually coming and that it has already found its way to some of you.

Are you feeling the spring yet?

I promise you, this inspiration post is full of wonderful spring vibes!

A haircut and some picked snowdrops – I can’t think of anything more spring-ish. As always a beautiful and calm picture by @an0rakcity.

I find a lot of inspiration here at Anna’s magical universe. There is such a calmness over each picture, and in the same way each picture is like a little piece of magic.

I think this picture is so beautiful in every way, and this is one out of many pictures taking on this staircase and I love every single one of them. Go and take a look! And this really make me want to do an egg hunt with Frigg and Fridtjof at the local park for Easter and buy them matching rabbit bonnets.

Tiril is a photographer and I fell totally in love with her work right away when I came across her Instagram one day about one year ago. And this picture of Tiril’s little tribe. I think I know how Tiril must have felt when she took this picture. There is nothing better than seeing one’s children being safe and happy in each other’s company.

This picture is so beautiful in all its simplicity but tells the story about how the brighter days and the first flowers of the year has begun to appear.

Joscha is a true storyteller and one of my favorite photographers. I mean, one evening I spent two hours scrolling through her feed.

Sannes pictures seem to find their way to my inspiration posts over and over again, and it couldn’t be any other way because I find Sanne, her pictures and the way she portrays her children and their family life nothing but heartwarming and yes, very very inspiring. And I love this picture of her girl wearing a crown of spring flowers.

When I see Maria’s pictures I think: I want to appear on pictures with my children too. This universe is filled with love (and beauty and very good taste too).

And then it was spring! and magnolia starts to appear on Instagram. This picture is wonderful – I love how Kat uses flowers and leafs of the season in her pictures and I have a feeling that she uses the seasons in the upbringing of her children too. I really admire that.

Sofia’s universe is so playful and she inspires me to play a little – both in my own work but also in my decor of our home. For me spring is all about the colors pink and yellow and this picture is just – wow.

The poppy – another spring favorite, and a favorite flower of mine too. And Laura! – she is a favorite too. So beautiful and poetic – both flower and woman.

And that was it for now! I hope you are in a spring mood now. And maybe I’m in a spring mood after all cause even though it is raining today, like every other day this month, I feel like buying flowers, painting a wall or a closet, washing the floor, listening to music and take pictures! Thank you for the inspiration!
